The Aviary
Welcome to The Aviary, WISH Academy’s by-students, for-students newspaper. We founded this newspaper in order to strengthen the WISH community by providing transparency, and elevating students' voices. Throughout the year, we aim to provide students with informative, non-biased coverage of the school and the wider community, from events and activities to school-wide debates and policy issues.
The start of any new school year is always a challenging time of transition, but it’s also full of excitement and new beginnings. This statement has proven true for many at WISH Academy. Even though this is only the 6th week of the school year, WISH students have already gotten started in their many exciting pursuits, and this year promises to be full of action, and growth and discovery for all involved.
With the 2023-2024 school year now in full swing, students have many great events, opportunities, and milestones to look forward to in the coming weeks. Here are some highlights from ASB and The Aviary.
